Focus Properties

Blue Ice Gold is solidly positioned in NL, one of the best mining jurisdictions globally, with strategic positions in key trends of interest. Below are our focus projects.

LynxLake
Wings Pond - Gold

The project highlights indicate a comprehensive exploration history involving soil sampling, channel sampling, prospecting, trenching, mapping, and geophysical surveys. The area exhibits Au-Ag-Pb mineralization, primarily hosted by sulphide-bearing quartz veins within the Gander Group metasediments. Notable findings include grab samples containing up to 12.2 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold (Au). Additionally, chip sample results show concentrations of up to 9.8 g/t Au over a 1.0 meter stretch and 2.4 g/t Au over another 1.0 meter. Subcrop samples have yielded up to 600 parts per billion (ppb) Au, while float samples have reached up to 1200 ppb Au. A particularly high-grade sample has been recorded at 2200 ppb Au. These results collectively underscore the promising potential for mineralization in the explored area.

Moosehead - Gold

The project is located in the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt, known for its significant gold endowment. It boasts high-grade gold across all discovered zones within a geographically extensive area, with at least 700 meters in strike length, up to 200 meters in width, and a vertical extent of at least 250 meters. There's a noted high potential to connect these zones and enlarge the Moosehead property in collaboration with current partners. Geographically, the project is on the same trend as the Marathon Gold Valentine Lake project and is also contiguous to and surrounds the Sokoman Minerals' Moosehead Gold project on three sides, suggesting a potential continuity of mineralization.

IsaLake
Starkes Pond - Ni-Cu-Co

The exploration data delineates notable assay results from two geographically distinct zones. In the East Zone, nickel (Ni) concentrations reach up to 0.92% in grab samples and 0.86% in drill cores, demonstrating consistent values across exploration methods. Copper (Cu) is also present with grab samples yielding up to 0.45% and drill core assays slightly higher at 0.58%. Cobalt (Co), a strategic metal, shows a uniform presence in both grab and drill core samples at 0.09%. Moving to the West Zone, the assays reveal a significant increase in copper content at 2.24%, alongside lead (Pb) at 0.15% and an especially high grade of zinc (Zn) at 9.2%. These figures not only underscore the mineral diversity between the two zones but also highlight the West Zone's particularly high zinc potential, which could be of substantial economic interest.
